Working with our buddies
Last Friday our buddies helped us to create Olympic Athletes! We used our pictures and chose a sport and country to represent.
Understanding teen numbers
We used Numicon to help us understand teen numbers. We realised that all teen numbers have a base of ten!! Some of us were able to break teen numbers into three and four parts!!!
Procedural Writing
We have been learning about how to write a procedure. We made a jam sandwich and then wrote down the steps for making one!

Learning about compound words
The Possum group have been learning about compound words. The are two words put together to make another word. Some examples of compound words are:
Sunflower, ice cream and sailboat.
